Refurbishmnet Progress in Hall.

The Hall Committee are keen to improve the facilities at The Village Hall at Trecastle. Towards the end of 2015 we have installed new windows throughout the building, and had the flat roof over the toilets and storeroom and main entance area replaced. The main hall has been repainted throughout and the hallways, staircase and rooms upstairs have been repainted. We will be evaluating a damp course treatment to the building also and having an audit of the building for heat efficiency. This should allow us to access more funding for dealing with damp, and loss of heat/energy. Wi-Fi is soon to be installed at the hall with a desire to provide Lap top computers and printers at a later date. This will give opportunity for local people to use the hall and it`s I.T. facility. It will also be a bonus when it comes to hiring the hall, because it will allow access for internet when outside agencies are putting presentations together or workshops require internet access. It is definately a move in the right direction for Trecastle.
