Refurbishment of Village Hall
Entry by Community Group: Community Hall
TheĀ refurbishment has continued in the upper roms of the Village Hall. The walls have received three coats of paint in some places and the storage of equipment and drama props has been rethought and waste materials disposed of. This has made a big difference to the rooms upstairs and it continues to improve for future uses.
The B.B.N.P.A. have hired the Village Hall out for 7 - 10 days for an Agincourt Workshop for schools to visit. The idea was initiated after Trecastle were so involved in The Agincourt Events of 2015. We have already some permanent items in the Village to remind us of the The Agincourt Year of 2015. Seven Primary schools will visit Trecastle for the workshops, and it will culminate in a small walk from The Village Hall to the birthplace of Sir Watkin Lloyd at Ynys Marchog. It is believed that Ynys Marchog was Sir Watkyn Lloyd`s home, after he captained an army that fought at Agincourt in 1415.
