- Land at Usk reservoir, Llywel, Trecastle (12.12.22) – The installation of a 30m lattice tower supporting 3 no. antennas, 2 no. transmission dishes, 2 no. equipment cabinets, 1 no. meter cabinet and ancillary development there to including 1 no. GPS module, a generator and associated fuel tank, and a 1.8 m fenced compound.

- NMWTRA (5.1.22) - Project Name: A40 Ynys Yr Wyddfa Sennybridge Landslip repair
Proposed Works: Realignment of carriageaway and building retaining wall.
Programme Start Date: Monday 9th January 2023
Programme Completion Date: October 2023

I refer to the above and wish to inform you that the works noted will be undertaken between Monday 9th January and October 2023 at this location.
This could result in a higher than usual level of noise at intervals and I take this opportunity in apologising in advance for any inconvenience incurred.
A full closure of the A40 will be required and will be implemented between 18:00 – 06:00 (when traffic flows are lower) on the night of 19th January 2023 to install safety barriers.
Traffic along the diversion route will be monitored to identify any issues / additional mitigation measures that may need to be considered.

- Powys (13.12.22) - At the meeting of the Standards Community Sub-Committee held on 5 December 2022 a number of general dispensations were considered and the decisions of the Sub-Committee are set out below. I would be grateful if you would make your Town and Community Councillors aware of these dispensations. You also need to make them aware that at meetings where the Councillor wishes to use a general dispensation they will still need to disclose a Personal and Prejudicial Interest and that they are relying on the general dispensation granted on 5 December 2022 in order for them to take part in the discussion of the item. As Clerk you will need to make sure that Councillors complete a disclosure of interest form and record the disclosure in the minutes of the meeting.
- Powys (19.12.22) - Powys County Council is holding a statutory consultation on a proposal to formally establish a Welsh-medium stream at Ysgol y Cribarth from September 2023. The consultation begins on 19 December 2022 and will end on the 6 February 2023.

- Welsh Government (10.1.23) - At the last Partnership meeting, we informed members that we were looking to get a grant scheme off the ground to support activity in improving democratic engagement across Wales.
We are pleased to announce that as of today, applications from organisations are welcomed for funding from our “Democratic Engagement Grant”. Applications are split between those requesting funding under £1000 and those requesting funding over £1000.
I have provided the links to our website which has all the additional information, the guidance for the grant is contained within the application forms.
